“Pakwan Chennai” will tantalize your palate.
I was recently invited by them to try their menu which boasts some rich aromatic gravies, delectable mains and sinful desserts. The availability of a plethora option purely for vegetarians is mind blowing.
The colorful and eclectic art at reflects serene traditional moods, providing the ideal ambiance for savoring authentic and modern North Indian cuisine.Superfluity options in non alcoholic beverages did confuse me, but ORANGE CHASKA drived me moonstruck and that black salt and chaat masala anchored my gastronomic joyride.
In the Soup section, the super creamy soup with a desi touch, the Badam Shorba gave the royal twist. , then i I loved the intensely earthy flavours in this smooth cream of mushroom soup recipe – it’s a classic choice.
Palak is any form is disturbing to my palate, then i was served a chaat , which was like nothing i have ever tasted before. An utterly unique and delicious healthy snack option. The PANNER DUM ANARI is another treat , its like a VVIP treatment given to paneer and celestially served.
The Vegetable Chilli tikki and Stuffed Mushroom Balls lingers in my memory even now. But saving the best for the last, HONEY CHILLI POTATOES Crisp outside, soft inside slightly sweet and slightly spicy – they are the perfect things to eat when you want a little bit of everything.
Of the mains, the Dhal Pakwan with Rotis will give you foodgasm, and he unsaid story of VEG HYDERBAD BIRIYANI is there in the menu of Pakwan , and its the best veg biriyani one can ever have. (we all have been having only Veg masala rice, dont get confused) . Apart from the north indian dishes, the BAKED MACRONI was generously smothered with cheeses, veggies & creamy bechamel sauce’s.Well who complaints when there is too much of cheese ? The Pizza had this amazing sauce which accentuates the crust and that browned cheese has to be its best part.
The next good news is, now even broccoli can be served tasty , had tossed with some flavorsome sauce it was served on a baguette. Paneer multani masala with Sizzler biriyani was gustatory.
Of the desserts, delicate, whitish pulp of the litchi, with a perfume flavor gave a very distinctive flavor and tasted so good with the rabdi. The chocolate panacotta is another descendant dish of the night.
The service was full on skill and resourcefulness, excellent interaction with guests, aplomb smart appearance and practical ability to serve you some extra spoons.
Whether you’re a experienced gourmet of Indian food or just an inquisitive newbie, get ready for a gastronomic exploration at PAKWAN.
